A u t i s m currently affects as many as 1 in 100 children, with some form of Autism Spectrum Disorder.

There are many programs available for working with children challenged with autism spectrum disorder.

In 1999 Deborah began her journey of working in

the field of autism. Her introduction and studies began with the son-rise approach. In 2000, Deborah spent a week intensive training at The Option Institute and continued training with a son-rise trainer and a son-rise child facilitator, in London, Ontario, until summer of 2006.

Deborah works with an attitude of acceptance, love and non-judgement. She brings with her many skills and much knowledge acquired throughout her past 40 years of exploring health and healing. Deborah recognizes children as teachers. Her work is ongoing in the field of autism spectrum disorder, filling many roles including those as therapist, surrogate parent, consultant, dietary needs specialist and teacher.
